Sicurezza 2017: Facts and Figures
The 19th edition of Sicurezza, Fiera Milano’s event leader in Italy and a benchmark for the security and fire-fighting industry in Europe, was attended by 25,569 professional visitors in three days, +35% compared to the past edition.
This positive trend is also confirmed by the presence of numerous exhibitors and by the many interviews S News did during the three days’ exhibition : 465, +40% compared to the past edition, occupying three pavilions, while in 2015, the pavilions were just 2.
“Over 25,000 operators from 86 countries visiting the event confirm how Sicurezza is a benchmark for the security sector” – says Fabrizio Curci, CEO for Fiera Milano – “This event is an innovation and professional training hub for this industry, as it provides concrete solutions in a period in which integration and digitisation are changing the rules.” “The exhibition’s strength is its cross-cutting offering – continued Curci – enriched, for the first time this year, by Smart Building Expo, the event that took place simultaneously with Sicurezza”.
Sicurezza represented many sectors, such as video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and passive and cyber security. This year, the fire-prevention sector, in terms of both detection and suppression, joined this already wide offering. The areas dedicated to drones and the means and technologies displayed by Italian Armed Forces and Law Enforcement officers were successful too.
Save the date! The next SICUREZZA will be held in two years, from 13 to 15 November 2019.
