Avigilon Control Center 5.2 with the HDSM 2.0 technology
Vancouver. Avigilon Corporation (“Avigilon”) (TSX:AVO), a global leader in end-to-end security solutions, today introduced Avigilon Control Center (ACC) 5.2 to its innovative product portfolio. ACC 5.2 provides superior image detail more quickly and accurately than ever before.
Engineered from the ground up, the award-winning ACC software was built on an open platform and designed to be both scalable and user-friendly. For organizations with large, distributed sites such as retail chains, multi-national corporations, school campuses, and critical infrastructure operations, ACC 5.2 enables them to respond more quickly to real-time incidents and conduct more efficient investigations. The results are improved business practices and overall cost savings.
“Today, businesses are more complex than ever, with operations in multiple cities around the world. With ACC 5.2, the world’s largest customers can keep locations safe no matter how disperse,” said Ian Povey, director of product marketing and management, Avigilon. “Our innovative products continue to help security professionals keep their organizations protected, regardless of size and location.”
Features
With ACC 5.2, organizations can seamlessly migrate from ACC 4.12 or earlier versions of ACC
5.0 and keep large and distributed locations more secure with the following new features:
• The cross-site user and groups feature enables system administrators to designate security permissions to multiple sites at once, greatly increasing the integrity, speed and efficiency of their system deployment
• Private bookmarks enable system administrators to designate footage as confidential so they can maintain confidentiality of sensitive material
• Alarm escalation allows organizations to set time-sensitive alerts according to priority, ensuring that alerts are addressed and appropriately escalated
• The Pick Site-View Location feature increases system set-up speed to allow new items to be added with the appropriate permissions in a designated location.
HDSM 2.0 Technology
ACC 5.2 incorporates the latest edition of Avigilon’s High Definition Stream Management (HDSM)™ technology, HDSM 2.0.
