At the “Axis Italia Partner Conference” we had the pleasure to meet Coralie Roy, Marketing Manager South Europe.
Mrs Roy, which is the overview and which are the Axis marketing strategies for South Europe?
In South Europe, in marketing, we are really head to support the sales, which means that we are here to create more relationships with our customers and closer to our customers.
Our customers are really different. We have the end users, who use our products at the end, but that are not our direct customers, and in the middle we have all our partners: distributors, technical partners and also partners reselling our products.
The idea is to reinforce the relationships with all these people.
For the end user we work on the segment marketing by activity, so retail, transportation, banking, mainly, and also city surveillance.
For them we develop a lot of tools, events and activities really linked to the use of our products.
For partners it is bit different. We help them to sell better our products, so we try to train them more, with a lot of education and we try to listen what their needs are also with the social media.
When we have clear what they need, we create tools for them to better sale our cameras, basically.
Another question: women in Axis are strong, aren't they?
Yes, we are! Women are strong, even from the top management where we have women involved, all the way down to all the people of the field.
We try to have as many women as possible, because we would like to have different angles, different opinions when we are approaching the market.
The market is very masculine, but it’s very important for us to keep women in our project, as well.
