Bidirectional Curtain Detector: B-VELVET
Among EEA’s latest innovations is B-VELVET, the new bidirectional curtain detector for outdoor perimeter protection. It detects potential intruders on both the right and left sides, integrating two PIR sensors per side (upper and lower beams). Alarm triggers occur only when both beams on the same side are simultaneously activated, minimizing false alarms. Installation is flexible, recommended between 80-120 cm from the floor, with a built-in bubble level for precise alignment. B-VELVET offers a maximum range of 12 meters per side (24 m total) and includes Pet Immunity, dynamic temperature compensation, IP54 protection. The PLUS version includes active LED anti-masking.
