ESS+ 2026: Hub for Innovation, Business and Security in Latin America

ESS+ 2026

ESS+ 2026 – International Security Fair will take place from August 26–28 at Corferias in Bogotá, occupying Halls 11 through 1G. The event, of which S News is Media Partner, will bring together more than 16,000 trade visitors, 400 exhibiting companies and representatives from 26 countries, “cementing its position as the region’s most important platform for business, innovation, and knowledge”, as the organizers say.

Organized by Corferias, PAFYC and IFEMA Madrid, ESS+ comes at a time of unprecedented growth for the industry. According to international projections, the global electronic security market will grow from USD 65,300 million in 2024 to more than USD 112,200 million in 2033, driven by artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, cybersecurity and smart city technologies.

“In a context where the convergence of physical, digital and operational risks is redefining the protection strategies of governments and companies – the organizers continue – Colombia will once again become the leading Latin American venue for the security industry.
For more than three decades, ESS+ has accompanied the sector’s evolution, becoming the bridge that connects manufacturers, integrators, distributors, technology developers, government agencies and major end users in Latin America. Today, it is the platform where solutions converge to protect the critical infrastructure, organizations, cities and citizens of the future”.

“Security – says Patricia Acosta, Director of the ESS+ International Security Fair – has evolved from an operational component to a strategic factor for competitiveness, business continuity and urban development. ESS+ brings together those leading this transformation and provides a space where innovation translates into concrete solutions for the region’s current challenges”.

A Comprehensive Experience for Industry Leaders

ESS+ 2026 will combine four major components that strengthen its value proposition:

  • Technology Exhibition: product launches, live demonstrations and cutting-edge technologies for video surveillance, artificial intelligence, video analytics, access control, cybersecurity, fire protection, automation, drones, IoT, critical infrastructure, industrial security and personal protection.
  • International Academic Agenda: a forum for analyzing the trends that are transforming public and private security, featuring government officials, business leaders, international experts and representatives from key economic sectors.
  • International Business Matchmaking: strategic meetings between manufacturers, buyers, distributors and integrators to foster commercial partnerships and new projects in Latin America.
  • Executive Networking: spaces designed to strengthen relationships, share experiences and generate collaboration opportunities among key industry players.

An Academic Agenda Addressing Major Security Challenges

Beyond the trade show, ESS+ 2026 will offer an academic program bringing together national and international experts to discuss the challenges currently facing cities, organizations and critical infrastructure.

Highlights of the main forums include:

  • Latin American Forum on Safe Cities
  • Forum on Critical Infrastructure
  • Corporate Security Forum

A Regional Hub for Security

The country’s strategic location, its air connectivity, the growth of its technology ecosystem and its ability to attract international buyers have established Colombia as one of the leading business hubs for the security industry in Latin America.

ESS+ embodies this leadership position by bringing together on a single stage global manufacturers, technology developers, integrators, distributors, government entities and decision-makers who are driving the modernization of security systems in the region.

“For three days, Bogotá will serve as the meeting point where innovation, knowledge and business will converge to build a smarter, more connected industry that is better prepared to face the challenges of the future” the organizers conclude.
