From passive to active video surveillance : perimeter protection

Wide areas like large industrial parks, military bases or borders need more protection than fences and walls. Therefore, IP cameras are often used. The RTC1130 is optimal for a reliable surveillance. The high-quality RIVA camera includes a weatherproof housing and therefore allows optimal indoor and outdoor utilization. The thermal camera also provides high quality images in bright sunlight as well as in complete darkness. Furthermore images are not affected by difficult weather conditions like heavy rain, fog or snow. Wide range of lens angles allows covering long distances and large areas. The RTC1130 already includes VCA Presence (like all RIVA devices) and VCA Detect as a standard feature. 

The VCA Detect module is specially designed for perimeter protection. It includes the classification-, direction- and dwell filters. That means objects (persons, vehicles, animals etc.) are distinguished and heights as well as speeds are recognized. Furthermore the direction in which objects move, is identified. Objects, whose speed is either slowed down or increased and objects, which dwell over a longer period than specified within a zone, trigger an alarm. Thus your property is optimal guarded.
