Future Forces Forum: international platform for defence & security
In three weeks, the Future Forces Forum will be held in Prague, from the 16th to the 18th of October, at the PVA EXPO PRAHA. The event is organized under the auspices of the Czech Government in close cooperation with armed and security forces, NATO, EDA and other relevant organisations who are involved in the programme.

The Forum objectives
The first day of Future Forces Forum will be opened by the President of the Czech Republic himself, Petr Pavel, with an inaugural speech and he will also take part in an exclusive exhibition tour. This event, with its roots reaching back to 1985, is in fact “a highly recognized and widely endorsed international platform for defence and security information exchange and for promotion of the allied and partner countries objectives within national and global security, hosting figures of high relevance from all around the world”, they say from FFF.
The primary goal is to develop security and defence cooperation within NATO, EU and other partner countries, military and civil authorities. All events are focused on the presentation of current and future needs of the armed and security forces, state-of-the-art technologies and R&D programmes with interactions between all involved stakeholders on the military and civilian level. The Forum addresses the latest trends and needs in defence and security area and helps to achieve the much sought-after interoperability within Joint All-Domain Operations environment. Another important aim is to facilitate active engagement with partner countries, international organizations, armed and security forces, law enforcement, private sector, R&D, and academia across the globe. The Future Forces Forum also regularly hosts the official NATO working groups sessions.

“The event will tackle the biggest challenges in Multi-Domain Operations and Future Conflicts, drawing on top military leaders like NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, and gaining insights into the future operational environment”, the organizers say.
