Global LED Lamp Average Retail Price Falls 11.8 Percent in June

The June 2014 release of the IHS Technology LED lamp Retail Price Tracker has found that the global average retail price of light-emitting diode (LED) lamps was $21.8, indicating a fall of 6.1 percent in June 2014 from the prior month, and down 11.8 percent compared to the same time a year earlier in June 2013.
During the past 12 months, the lumens-per-dollar ratio of LED lamps has increased by 5.5 percent to 30.4 lumens per dollar.

IHS has been tracking LED lamp retail pricing trends for more than two years. Each month IHS analysts sample over 2,500 individual LED lamps sold in retailers across 15 countries globally.
