Salto Systems presents the XS4 One DIN, a new version of its electronic escutcheon, which impresses with its simple installation.
SALTO SYSTEMS XS4 ONE DIN FEATURES
The electronic escutcheon can be mounted on a wide variety of doors without wiring, drilling or complicated retrofitting. By using the existing rosette drilling holes (DIN), it is also suitable for use on fire and smoke protection doors without these losing their certification. The doors equipped with the XS4 One DIN can always be opened from the inside and thus comply with EN 179/1125 standards. Thanks to its robust construction, the escutcheon is suitable not only for standard doors but also for high traffic entrance doors too.
The XS4 One DIN is compatible with MIFARE DESFire EV1 identification technologies and incorporate Bluetooth Smart (BLE) and NFC (Near Field Communications) enabling easy integration of user and staff security needs in a single security credential. Therefore, contactless RFID cards and key fobs as well as smartphones with mobile keys can be used to open doors. As is standard with SALTO, XS4 DIN model integrates latest technologies to protect against advanced attacks; SALTO’s electronic locking platform technology leverages industry-leading security practices, including advanced encryption to provide users a secure and seamless keyless and mobile experience. For added protection, users’ access plans are updated daily, thanks to SVN data-on-card core networked technology.
Versatility is one of the most outstanding features of SALTO access control solutions and the DIN version of the XS4 One continues this. The electronic escutcheon is available in various models, including mechanical or electronic “Do not disturb” function and mechanical override function. It is compatible with a wide range of DIN mortise locks and handles, including those from third party manufacturers. The reader housing is available in black or white and the body in three different finishes (Satin stainless steel, polished stainless steel and BioCoteⓇ antimicrobial Coating finish).
The XS4 One DIN is fully integrated into the SALTO SPACE system platform and therefore works smoothly with the patented Data-on-Card technology SALTO Virtual Network (SVN), SALTO BLUEnet wireless networking and JustIN Mobile technology.
