Completely free to attend, visitors will have the opportunity to connect, share insights and understand the market trends behind the region’s growth and, most importantly how to capitalise on it. Afrocet Montgomery, the event’s organisers, have announced their intention for this year’s special 10-year anniversary is to provide an educational and inspirational experience for all participants and visitors.
The expo’s primary purpose will be to present industry professionals with the latest innovations in security, fire and safety, whether it’s from an international leading brand, or a private West African manufacturer. Securex will give you, the visitor, the opportunity to compare multiple applications and solutions, side-by-side, all under one roof.
Further to the myriad of products on display, visitors will also be able to attend the show’s key features this year which include the Conference Hall and the Seminar Theatre. Organisers are encouraging attendees to take full advantage of the networking and learning opportunities offered at these features. Across both days, attendees can expect to hear from industry experts as they reveal the latest threats, security innovations and growth trends affecting the market. The schedules for these events can be found on the website.

Encompassing Fire and Safety, Homeland, Commercial and Cyber Security, the combined offering of Firexpo and Securex West Africa will provide essential tools for businesses both small and large to access influential industry professionals under one roof and start exploring the opportunities available within.
Mr George Pearson, Regional Director for Afrocet Montgomery, the organisers behind Securex West Africa had this to say about the upcoming event: “As the event draws closer, we are putting in a great deal of preparation behind the scenes to make this our best to date. As our tenth birthday, we’re keen to celebrate how far we’ve come, not only as an exhibition but also within the market.” The ECOWAS region itself has a GDP value of US$716.7 billion* and the Nigerian cyber security market alone has grown 53% in size since 2015*. Following the region’s growth in cyber security, this year we have concentrated on securing the very top experts in the field to speak at WACSS – and with the agenda already finalised, and some huge names topping the schedule, we’re very excited to share that with the community.”
Taking place on the second day, 18th of March, this year’s West African Cyber Security Summit (WACSS) will attract cyber security’s top industry stakeholders and market experts as they take to the stage in this valuable forum discussing the biggest threats facing the industry. Hear about strategies for risk prevention, detection and damage control.
For the third year, Securex will be partnering with the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs). Celebrating the finest contributions to the Nigerian security industry, this year you can attend the award ceremony at the Conference Hall on the 17th of March at 1pm. Free to attend, simply ensure to get there in advance to not miss out on seating.
