SicherheitsExpo Munich 2025: the growth course continues
SicherheitsExpo Munich is the annual meeting place where products and services from the fields of access control, video surveillance, fire protection, perimeter protection and IT security are presented. The trade fair was held for the 22nd time. In his opening speech, the Bavarian Minister of the Interior, Joachim Herrmann, emphasised the importance of the topics presented at the trade fair.
A positive balance for SicherheitsExpo Munich 2025
Over the course of two days, around 120 exhibitors from 12 countries took centre stage at SicherheitsExpo Munich to showcase their security technology offerings. Around 3,100 high-calibre trade visitors attended this year’s SicherheitsExpo Munich. The event is thus continuing its growth trajectory and paving the way for the new edition of SicherheitsExpo Berlin, which will celebrate its premiere on 17 and 18 September at the STATION Berlin event location.
Henning and Thilo Könicke, Managing Directors of trade fair organiser AFAG, said at the end of the trade fair: “We are delighted that we were once again able to record growth in the number of exhibitors and visitors. SicherheitsExpo Munich once again proved that a visit to the trade fair is a must for anyone involved in security technology. The highly specialised offerings, a high level of expertise and, last but not least, the accompanying specialist presentations round off the trade fair concept.”
The compact format of the event and the focus on the core topics make the trade fair a popular annual industry get-together where all relevant customers and contacts are present in person. The accompanying lecture programme at SicherheitsExpo focused on future-oriented security technologies. The various presentations were very well attended and thus ideally complemented the trade fair programme. The exhibitors were very satisfied with the quality of the visitors and were able to make good contacts and generate high-quality leads.
The exhibitor survey for SicherheitsExpo Munich 2025 underlines the high level of satisfaction with the trade fair participation: 96 per cent of exhibitors were able to meet their target visitor groups at SicherheitsExpo. 91 per cent of exhibitors stated directly after the trade fair that they wanted to participate again next year and 82 per cent of exhibitors considered their expectations of SicherheitsExpo to be fulfilled. Further exhibitors have also registered for the premiere of SicherheitsExpo in Berlin at SicherheitsExpo Munich.
Outlook: SicherheitsExpo Berlin 2025
For the first time, SicherheitsExpo will also take place in Berlin in September, on 17 and 18 September at the Station Berlin event location. This means that visitors from the greater Berlin area as well as from the east and north-east of Germany and neighbouring countries will be able to attend a new event on the important topic of security technology.
