SicherheitsExpo Munich 2026: Meeting Place for Decision-Makers in the Security Sector in the South
SicherheitsExpo Munich 2026, focused on current topics, developments and trends in security technology, took place from 1-2 July at the MOC in Munich.
The trade fair, of which S News is Media Partner, impressed with high-calibre specialist presentations, renowned exhibitors and a high concentration of decision-makers who had specifically prepared for their visit. Both exhibitors and visitors expressed great satisfaction with this year’s SicherheitsExpo Munich.
Around 3,500 visitors attended the SicheheitsExpo Munich 2026 to explore what the more than 120 exhibitors had to offer. The two specialist forums and the networking opportunities were very well received.
Strong Growth and high-quality Attendance
“This year – the organizers say – the SicherheitsExpo München saw an increase in exhibition space and also welcomed more visitors than at the previous event. This means that the growth seen in recent years at the SicherheitsExpo München is continuing at a healthy pace.
The initial survey of exhibitors made it clear that SicherheitsExpo Munich once again stood out for the high calibre of its trade visitors and the very high proportion of decision-makers in attendance. 124 exhibitors took the opportunity to present their services and solutions to an industry audience over the two days of the SicherheitsExpo Munich. For many companies, the trade fair thus provided a good platform for networking with existing and new business partners. Some exhibitors have already registered for next year’s event”.
Bavaria’s Minister for the Interior, Joachim Herrmann, opened the SicherheitsExpo Munich and, following his opening address, took the time to visit the exhibition. “The innovative and forward-looking range of products and services, as well as the exhibitors’ high level of technical expertise – highlights Herrmann – have been the hallmarks of the SicherheitsExpo in Munich for many years. First-hand information and professional exchanges of the highest standard are guaranteed here. The exhibition thus offers a valuable platform for gaining comprehensive insights into the latest developments in security technology and for finding new inspiration for practical applications”.
Top-class Specialist Presentations on highly topical subjects at SicherheitsExpo Munich 2026
At the accompanying specialist forum, exhibiting companies had the opportunity to present their products and solutions to an interested audience and to attract further customers with a concrete interest in investing to their stand. In addition, the Federal Association for the Protection of Critical Infrastructure (BSKI) organised a further specialist forum featuring presentations on security and KRITIS-related topics. Both specialist forums were consistently very well attended and visitors showed great interest in the specialist topics presented. The stage programme is to be expanded for the upcoming event in order to further focus on knowledge transfer.

Outlook for the SicherheitsExpo Trade Fair Year
This year’s calendar features various security trade fairs organised by AFAG, which will focus on the latest developments, key issues and forward-looking solutions at different venues: the SicherheitsExpo Munich kicked things off, and shortly afterwards, on 15 and 16 July, KRIFA Münster will take place. On 14 and 15 October, the SicherheitsExpo Alpe Adria will take place for the first time at the Klagenfurt Exhibition Centre (Austria). The BOS:EXPO will make its debut in Augsburg from 25 to 27 February 2027. The next edition of the SicherheitsExpo Munich will take place on 30 June and 1 July 2027. Next year, the SicherheitsExpo Berlin will also take place once again.
