Sicurezza 2015 : Vertical Solutions and Internationalization

SICUREZZA, the biennial international exhibition on Security & Fire Prevention, the leading trade fair in its sector in Italy and among the top European events, is getting ready to return to Fiera Milano from 3 to 5 November 2015, with a show that, even now, 4 months before it opens, promises to be rich in content and new ideas.

Thanks to the presence of numerous market leaders, trade professionals visiting the show will be able to assess not only many innovative proposals, but also a wide range of vertical solutions geared to the many sectors – like transports, banks, residential security, retail, just to cite a few examples – which, increasingly, demand customized solutions: a slant which transforms security into a horizontal, strategic factor, able to offer protection but, at the same time, constant monitoring, and thus, greater efficiency, comfort and an accumulation of data which is useful for the business itself.
“From Building Automation to the Smart City, from security for retail businesses to security for airports and places where large numbers of people gather, from domotics to the Internet of Things: increasingly, these are the targets for which designers, integrators and installers are asked to provide innovative solutions. Solutions which, along with security products, will be the star players at SICUREZZA. It’s important to remember that, now that SICUREZZA has a new time slot, it will be the only international event focusing on this sector scheduled for the second half of this year. A new positioning which, I am certain, will offer yet another opportunity to attract greater numbers of foreign visitors to the fair,” underlines Giuseppe Garri, Exhibition Manager of the show.

Meanwhile, yet again, as they state from Rho headquarters, SICUREZZA is proving to be extremely popular. Even now, thanks to the numerous companies who have decided to return to the event and the confidence shown by companies attending for the first time, more than 70% of the exhibition space available has already been occupied, suggesting that the show’s new time location in odd calendar years is a change which is regarded positively by businesses, in keeping with their positive response when the move was first announced.

The representativeness of the offering, an assessment of the high degree of technological research that lies behind the solutions on the market today, but also a focus on how the market is evolving, with an in-depth look at areas which are apparently of interest across the board, like the Internet of Things and Cyber Security. Two topics which will be tackled at events which are part of the exhibition and in training sessions, helping to make the event even more diversified and rich in opportunities. As well as the products and solutions presented at the stands of individual companies, there will be plenty of initiatives where visitors to the fair can examine and assess the product in scenarios which reconstruct potential applications in real life, making it simpler for designers and installers to evaluate the selection of technologies available on the market today.
Finally, there will be great emphasis on internationalization, with investments aimed at augmenting opportunities for exhibitors to make contact with potential buyers, all of whom have a high profile in geographical terms and from the standpoint of expenditure capacity
.
“After the positive feedback we received from exhibitors in 2014, this time we are even more determined to involve selected top buyers, especially from the areas of the Mediterranean, the Middle East and North Africa,” confirms Garri. – “Thanks to an investment which has almost doubled compared to the last edition, we intend to multiply the opportunities offered by the EMP business matching platform (Expo Matching Program), which makes it possible for the demand and the offering to make contact before the event has begun. What we are aiming at is to work closely with all the companies attending, as a partner, aggregating the whole industry in a virtual way, thanks also to our good relations with the trades associations and publishers with whom we are working on this project. Our aim is to make the show a benchmark for all the markets in Southern Europe.”

The list of 2015 exhibitors is already available online at www.sicurezza.it/en, the exhibition website which, along with its new showcases on LinkedIn and Twitter, is the most up-to-date tool for finding out more about the exhibition, its content and the travel deals available for visitors and exhibitors, and get the very best out of your time in Milan.
