Mister Miller, 30 years of history in the Security field means “the History of the Italian Security”…
Your question is almost embarassing; to be gone through these last 30 years might signify to be part of the story of security, as concern our field, but “to be” the story has another meaning.
Looking at the past years, I believe it is important to underline a concept: it is not relevant how many years, rather the quality of the job we have been able to express during this period.
I think we have to live as protagonist and not to get carried away from time.
I can affirm that Tecnosicurezza has always worked in this direction and these last 30 years certainly mean experience, know-how, reliability not only in the perspective of the achieved goals, but as an important stage in the journey to innovation and development with the objective to consolidate our position on the worldwide markets.
In this scenario we would be considered part of the story of security as the story talks about the people’s feats and the obtained results. The sign left by the number of the past years is a marginal aspect.
With hindsight, what could have been done in our field in the last 30 years, that wasn’t done, and what would you like to have done in Tecnosicurezza, not done yet, but that can be realized
in the near future?
It is also difficult to answer this question. If I give you a non-committal answer, I can tell that we could have done more, no doubt: it was really possible, but it would be necessary to detail where, how and when. If I answer in a different way, the risk is to be considered conceited.
We always have to assign the context we are working in, because to express judgements in this sense, may only result rhetorical.
As regards our company, the considerations are the same as already done, I am used to think that yesterday we were not less capable or less engaged than today, but the circumstances has driven us in our choices and at that time, we took the decisions in keeping with the results to obtain.
I think the company has been able to manage the deep changes of the last years and it is now capable to face the new challenges looming on the horizon.
Which are the drivers, the targets for Tecnosicurezza, in the next years?
Certainly our engagement to keep updated and to improve costantly our products in relation with the market’s needs.
Then, a strong action of internationalization make the company bravely oriented to new markets, to be more developed, in particular towards the emergent countries where the needs concerning the management of the money are becaming of great interest like in westwards.
We offer to these new customers the whole experience available to grant the best engagement, even for training, that in this case we consider as a foundamental element of cooperation.
The foreign markets absorb more than 60% of our production, but in our forecast we expect to reach a percentage of 80%.
Which messages and drivers could you advise for the whole security field?
As you know our field is wide and I know just a minimum part of it, therefore I do not feel in a position to suggest nobody about direction or strategies as it is already difficult to define our own company trend.
The only things I take the liberty to remind, not only regarding our field, are: to give the best attention to innovation of both product and process, maintaining the better quality level and to invest in the development of the foreign markets where, of course, the Made in Italy is appreciated.
To create a sale and technical assistance networks abroad is a great engagement, the risks are not marginal, but this must not represent an alibi for not looking beyond our possibilities.
