To protect critical infrastructure : change the way to approach security

Mr. Samani, which is the answer to protect critical infrastructures?
When we talk about critical infrastructure are reliant upon technology is changed. The Cloud computing infrastructure that we used in the past to store music or photos is now doing a lot more: it’s now being used to keep the lights on as well as keeping the water clean.

So how do we begin to address, how are changing technologies to begin to protect critical infrastructure and I think, you know, there isn’t a single answer that we can give to do this, but I think that one thing that we need to do is that we need to change the way that we approach security.

We need to understand that these systems are now being connected online and are being made available on the internet.

And we now begin to need to implement the technologies to be able to understand what’s being done, we need to provide the ability to be able to train individuals so people, process and technology. But, fundamentally we have to change the way that we do security and the way we address to critical infrastructure.
