Dahua Vertical Security Summit 2020: the Rise of Integrated Solutions
Dahua Technology held in the suggestive frame of the Vatican Museums in Rome, the Dahua Vertical Security Summit 2020, on February 20.
It was the first time that Dahua organized such an International Event, inviting its most important European customers, and keeping it in the Vatican State was surely very impressive, because of the importance and because of the great meaning the Vatican has all over the world.
As it’s well known, Dahua is the Technological Partner of the Vatican Museums and the International Summit was aimed to deepen the possibilities and the advantages Dahua Solutions can offer in the Verticals, giving answers to the market and to the society needs.
“The rise of integrated security solutions for vertical markets”, as the event subtitle says, saw different moments during the day: a conference, with the welcome address by Mr. Luca della Giovampaola, Office Responsible for Technology Support and Development at the Vatican Museums; the opening speech by Mr. David Shen, WEU General Manager at Dahua Technology; VIP keynotes speeches, in-depth focus on Retail and Transportation industries by Mr. Manuel di Casoli, Chief Strategy Officer at Fiera Milano S.p.A. and by Mr. Claudio Pantaleo, former Director of Systems and Technologies to Protect Assets at ATM Milano; the Presentation of Dahua Smart Retail & Transportation Solutions by Mr. Luca Pari, Projects Sales Manager at Dahua Technology Italy.
A Panel Discussion followed the Conference. Speakers were Dahua's customers coming from different countries: from Belgium Mr. Ibrahim Bulut, Security Consultant at Allseccon Security Consultancy, from Germany Mr. Thomas Schröder, Project Manager at NTA Systemhaus GmbH, from Spain Mr. Gustavo Agüero Hernandez, CEO at Grupo Agüero Solution together with the experts Mr. Manuel di Casoli and Mr. Claudio Pantaleo. The Moderator of the Panel Discussion was Mrs. Monica Bertolo, Director at S News Magazine.
The discussion was about the primary demands of the vertical markets in the different countries and the setting of best practices, the newest end-users requirements that outline the markets trends, the decisive elements of an integrated security solution and the best way to structure them, and finally the evolution of the role of the system integrator and how manufacturers can cooperate with this important figure to easy the process.
A private guided tour to the Vatican Museums followed the panel discussion and the marvel was painted on everybody face while was contemplating some of the purest expressions of the Renaissance art, immersed in the total quietness.
A gala dinner in the heart of Rome closed the day, rich of truly memorable experiences and emotions, with another surprise: the Dahua Awards Ceremony.
