Secutech Thailand 2023

Secutech Thailand, taking place from 1st to 3rd November 2023 at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, offers wide-ranging business opportunities across the entire smart city and smart building ecosystem, designed to meet the needs throughout the regional and local market of Smart City Solutions. That includes Security, Fire Safety & Rescue, Smart Living, and Info Security businesses just within one show, with visitors and supporters from all different industries and sectors with factory, retail businesses, hotel, home, and condominium needs.

Smart City: a growing market in the ASEAN region

“Despite the pandemic – the organizers highlight – Thailand is expected to bounce back, thanks to the increased government and foreign investment from the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and the ratification submitted of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) with over ten countries in ASEAN. Just with another approval of investment applications in manufacturing and infrastructure projects from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) earlier in June 2022, for a combined THB209.5 billion ($6.6 billion), several more opportunities are expected to emerge in this promising market”. In fact, many smart city projects have sprung up all over the ASEAN region: including several digital parks and a $37 billion smart city in an industrial hub near Bangkok. With the merging of Thailand Lighting and Building Fairs, the show will be guided much further onto the smart city development section as well.

Secutech Thailand connects buyers with renowned international suppliers of AI and IoT-based solutions for Thailand’s growing number of smart cities. Meanwhile, the Thailand Building Fair provides a multitude of building technologies and solutions for smart city infrastructure.
