Securex West Africa: the Post Show Report

Securex West Africa was held from May 10th till 12th at Landmark Centre, Lagos, Nigeria with a record breaking exhibition and conference to show that the industry is bouncing back from the pandemic. Over three days the security, fire, safety and facilities management industries came together to hear from industry thought leaders and see in person new products and services available from the global marketing place.

THE CONFERENCES

Over the three days Securex hosted a large number of engaging and interactive sessions which included panel discussions, keynote presentations and product demonstrations. Each day the two auditoriums were full with visitors wanting to get an insight into the latest trends, procedures and hear real life experiences from the esteemed speaker line up. With the Securex West Africa conference taking place over all three days of the event, it looked into a wide range of topics, including Maritime Crime, Protecting Critical National Infrastructure, Smart City Initiatives, Women in Security and much more. Firexpo West Africa conference took place on day one with a dedicated line up looking into fire prevention strategies and protocols, with Facilities Management West Africa following on day two to coincide with World FM Day opening via a video link from the Chair of Global Facilities Management Association.
