Crume will draw upon his more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry as a prolific author and IBM Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor. Crume is the author of the book, “What Hackers Don’t Want You to Know” and is a contributing author to the information Security Management Handbook and a member of the IBM Academy of the Technology.

“ISC West has a long history of providing incredible content and with not one, but three keynotes this year, we’re proud to continue the tradition by hosting some of the security industry’s foremost thought leaders,” says Sherida Sessa, Industry Vice President of ISC Security Events at Reed Exhibitions. “Our goal is to provide a nuanced, comprehensive look at three important facets of our industry: from national homeland security, to local security, to the protection of the ever-expanding internet of things. With Dr. Maughan, Deputy Chief Jones and Jeff Crume, we’re able to give ISC West attendees, from all segments of the industry, access to some of the most powerful case studies and security solutions they’ll come across this year.”

“This is exactly the type of relevant, educational content that today’s security professionals need,” says Don Erickson, CEO, SIA. “Along with the wide variety of 85+ other educational sessions at ISC West, the value of attending the show is unmatched and the three keynote presentations promise to be an essential part of our education offerings, giving attendees an unfiltered, first-hand look at the reality of security situations both locally and globally.”
