PASO: all the new solutions presented at ISE
PASO, leader of the emergency broadcasting and voice evacuation market, strengthened by 100% Made in Italy production, as usual attended Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the world’s largest exhibition for AV and systems integration.
ISE represents a special appointment for PASO. From the 11th to the 14th February, during the 2020 ISE Edition, the last one held at RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, PASO exhibited its compact all-in-one Voice Evacuation Systems, displaying together all the members of its PAW family, with a particular focus on the 'smart' ranges PAW5500-VES & PAW51K-VES, characterized by many interesting functional features such as an integrated SD card and/or USB reader for reading *.mp3 music files, multilingual management menu, a dual LINK line for connection to other PAW units, an independent 3-band equalizer for each zone, the possibility of inserting new cards that allow the addition of 2 or 6 musical inputs to the standard factory setting.
In addition to the whole PAW family, PASO also displayed the MIM1000 multifunction audio system, which allows the supervision via LAN of sound broadcasting systems and EN54 voice evacuation systems, with the advantage of letting the user be able to manage everything in total comfort with a smartphone/tablet (iOS/Android) or a PC (Windows/Mac OSX). The all-in-one SOURCE1000 multi-source module is characterized by its compact size and has been designed for all applications where a compact and complete audio source is required. It is able to easily connect with all the digital media devices on the market today, such as USB sticks or multimedia devices with a BLUETOOTH connection.
Last but not least, a brand-new project: the PMG1000-V GaN Amplifier, a 1000 W Class D unit equipped with the modern GaN (gallium nitride) technology, which provides high performance in terms of efficiency and space-saving. The main innovation relating to the use of this cutting-edge technology in the field of PA audio applications is the extreme speed and the ability to operate with high voltages, the main feature of these new cascode devices.
