Securex West Africa 2019: ready to start

Securex West Africa 2019 with more than 2,500 already pre-registered to attend, this year is set to be the most attended edition to date. The 9th edition of the region’s largest exhibition and conference for Security, Fire and Safety will be held from 16 till 17 April at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Across two exciting days, we’ll welcome Cyber, Commercial, Homeland and Perimeter Security, Fire and Safety professionals from across West Africa. Browse the latest technologies from top industry brands, make valuable business connections and get inspired at our daily free-to-attend conference sessions”, the organizers say.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will be encouraged to attend the daily Conference Sessions. Packed with topical sessions providing market insights, interesting growth opportunities and technical workshops, there’s something for everyone this year as some of the industry’s most senior stakeholders have been hosted.

Keynote speakers and sessions include:

‘Collaborative Security: A Multi-Stakeholder Approach to Addressing Nigeria’s Security Challenges’ by F. John Bray, Consul General, US Government.
‘Security Sector Reforms and Policies in Nigeria, Addressing a Boundaryless Operating Environment’; a Panel Session with the Honorable Aliyu Gebi, Senior Adviser to the Minister of Interior, Mr Wale Olaoye, CEO, Halogen Security Company Ltd and other esteemed guests.
‘Building a Culture of Cyber Awareness’ – West African Cyber Security Summit (WACSS); by Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, Director General, CEO, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)
‘Implementing 21st Century Security Strategies and Solutions’; a Panel Sessions with Dr Solomon E Arase, Former Inspector General of the Police, Prof Ademola Abass, Special Adviser to the Governor of Overseas Affairs and Investments and other esteemed guests.

Introducing the OSH Association Seminar; a brand-new event open to our visitors, this half-day Security and Safety seminar is organised by OSH Association UK and will take place on the first day of Securex West Africa from 1pm – 3pm.

There are over 75 security, fire and safety brands from all over the globe on display at Securex West Africa this year.

Securex West Africa 2019 is completely free to attend and you can either register in advance via the exhibition website or sign up upon arrival.
